Goji Berries (Lycium barbarum)

Goji berries have been used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years. Low in calories, fat-free, a good source of fiber and a high antioxidant food, goji berries may help to fight diseases, manage weight and promote better digestion. Usually eaten raw, dried or in liquid or powder form, these berries contain a wide range of phytonutrients, vitamins, giving them the name of “superfood”. In a study published by the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, goji berries may help - reduce fatigue by increase ratings for energy levels, sharper focus on activities, calmness, happy feelings, while improving sleep quality.
