Mandarin Peels are made with green, unripe mandarin oranges, peeling citrus fruit and drying the peels in the sun before storing them away to age.

During maturation, essential oils in the citrus peel dissipate and penetrate its entire surface, simultaneously releasing a mellow perfume, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory substance known as flavonoids. Mandarin peels helps to aid in digestion by promoting the increase of gastric acids. Mandarin peel is also known to quell nausea and relieve other gastro-intestinal disturbances.
